Vision is pixelated

I have been having some problems with my vision. It seems like everything I look at is pixelated, as if everything I see is a computer screen. It becomes worse as lighting decreases. I figured it was because of computer screens, but I would wake up the next day and still have the same problem. I'm not sure whether or not it's getting worse, or if my worried mind is making it appear like it is. I am also not sure whether or not I might have always had my vision this way and only just now noticed. My prescription did change recently, and I am very near sighted. Let me know if you have any thoughts. Thank you.

hmm.  dont know.  it is definitely NOT computer related.  if it has happened since your last eye exam, then go back and get another one.

I have had this exact same problem you describe, associated with chronic daily headache syndrome and vertigo.   I know EXACTLY what you mean about the pixelated vision in dim light, trust me, and I don't know what causes it.   I just learned to ignore it.   My gut tells me its neurologically related, something that can't be explained.

Citizen t,

Have you always had the pixelated vision or is it something that just occured one day? I can't tell if it's getting worse for me, is it getting worse for you? I see it in day conditions as well but it's not as bad. I was thinking it may have something to do with aging, and my far sight is already poor, but I only turn 21 next week. I can live with it, and I can ignore it as long as it doesn't get worse. Thank you for your help.

I too have been having "pixelated vision". I've had it for about three weeks (beg. of feb.) and it's more prominant in a shaded area or when i first close my eyes. when it first started happening i was feeling lightheaded. i am a 26 year old male.

you are the first other people i've heard that has had this.
