Hi
Thank you in advance for looking into my post.
In February my father went for standard cataract procedure in the hospital, the procedure was stopped because the surgeon said his eye was bleeding. Of course it left him with severe eye pain and headache.
Anyway, dad was given eye drops and three and half months later after examination they offer him the second surgery. The procedure was stopped again because bleeding occurred they said. This time dad suffer severe headache much worse than the first time. They said the headache caused by high eye pressure.
My questions are, is the bleeding and high eye pressure induced by their two surgery failures? Have they damaged the nerves or blood vessel in my dad’s eye? Not only now the eye completely lost vision, he has constant headache and nose block with occasional vomiting. Eight different eye drops do not seems to make much improvement.
The hospital asked if my father agrees to have laser surgery to lower the eye pressure. Given such bad experiences, should we trust them of another surgery?
Please help my dad by getting rid of the headache. We are very upset by the hospital’s cold response as well as not giving thorough explanation and direction.
