Cataract in Both Eyes....

Hi,

I had a lazy eye in my left eye. I am now 30 years old. I developed cataract in my left eye and was operated few months ago. However doctors say that my right eye is perfect and now i m wearing a lens of -0.75 . but for the last one year i have discovered some cataract like symptom in my good eye as well even though the doctors say it is good. Mainly when i m using the computers i see some thing is covering the letters in the computer. Initially i thought these might be floaters. But now i m sure they are not. This is because one day when i really concentrated and and half closed my eyes I could see some pattern in my eye. Then i figured out that it is this pattern is whats slightly covering my vision when i m doing my day to day work. could this pattern be some sign of cataract development ? could it be some problem with my retina ?. Also when i m driving the brake lights looks very bright than before as well.

Another problem with my good eye is when i wear glasses the eye becomes extermely painful sometimes. This has persisted for years but no solution. Also since my other eye is lazy i heavily use this eye. Could the catarct be due to this heavy usage of my eye or could there be any other medical condition as to why i might get cataract in both eyes...?

Please see an ophthalmologist.  This could be in the retina or the brain.

Hi ,

As per your advice i did consult two opthalmologists... They checked thru my right eye thouroughly and concluded there is not problem in the retina or the eye and the eye is in perfect health so that i do not need to worry about this. Whst should be my next step...

neurologist or as Dr.Oyakawa said it could be in the brain its self if it is not an eye problem.
