Conjuntivitis

Can I contagiate my cats with conjuntivitis?
Not sure if its bacterial or viral  one since the first doct prescribed antibiotics and the second told me to stop that...
I already asked at the cats forum, but I dont think Dr Jonh will pass by there... :-)

One week later secretion was almost  gone.A 3rd doct saw and prescibed a new eye drop plus lubrification product _ that I didnt used, btw -  I decided for no more tries and diferent opinions for some days.
Monday I completed 10 days,no secretion and no swollen,now Im going to 15 day and all you see it a little redness yet. Doing nothing -and getting a cold :)
Fellow eye is ok.
Weather is a lot dry here. Is it the the normal way the disease follows?
My retina appointment will be 9 september, no mood for going to ER' s again.Should I?

I think by direct contact. Just make sure to wash your hands before and after touching the cats. And do not touch your eyes when playing, feeding, or cleaning litter-boxes.

I'm sad to hear that you've got conjunctivitis I hope it goes away soon.

If so, just by direct contact (hands) or stuff will be in the air and there's nothing to do to help?
They dont share bed with me.
Do those alcohol gel products useful somehow, for myself or them? I mean, do they kill some germs or no?
Is a antibacterial soap better than those?
