Abusive relationship, black eye that has problems now.

Almost 3 years ago I was hit in my eye by my ex. I started bleeding out of my nose. My eye was swollen shut for maybe a week. I never got any medical attention for it because i was pregnant and didn't want them to take my baby.
Now I have been noticing that when i move my eye I see two lines that follow. I have always worn glasses and my eye sight hasn't seemed to have changed much. But I'm wondering if I have a loose nerve or something. It's like I tried following a pen to see if it was actually inside my eye and it is. Two dark shadow lines that move the opposite direction of where I move my eye. I hope this makes sense.

It's not too late to fix, but don't wait too long.

Can I eventually go blind in that eye if not treated? If so, is there surgery to correct it. I'm scared because I dint know if its to late to correct.

You need to be evaluated for either a retina or orbit problem. Go to a medical doctor who specializes in eye disease (ophthalmologist). If you are seeing "shadows" in your vision then this is a retina detachment until proven otherwise and you should seek care soon. If it is "double" vision, then it may be from a previously broken bone in your eye socket from the assault you sustained for which I'm deeply sorry.

Best wishes,
