severely dry eyes

Seeing an eye doctor. Had laser surgery for catoracs. Since then have had severe dry eye. Its been months. Was tested for dry eyes and told I produce NO tears. Been on lots of drops. They do NOT work. Eyes are soooo tired and painful. What else can I do?

Hi bbxx u want flaxseed or flax oil teaspoon in morning and night in a week you will notice a big different trust me are i swear by it better than any drops,get it from health shop had the same problem not now

He has already tried all of those--his doctor has even had him try them more often than the directions say.

Consider using sodium chloride ointment (Muro 128 or similar) at bedtime and preservative free artificial tears every two hours during the day.  I'm assuming he's already tried Restasis for this.

Ooops---sorry, I was talking to someone telling me, as I wrote it---obviously I cant do twho things at once--lol -but he is the one with it not myself. Any ideas? He is 70 years old. Margypops--did you find a solution?
