Floaters and night vision

Ok, First off I'm 25 female .About a month and a half ago I noticed my first floater, had my eyes checked everything was fine. Since then I've developed a LOT more floaters in both eyes, had my eyes checked again last week, everything fine. Now however I've noticed something else. At night if I look at a light and then turn my head I get this weird streaking effect. Its like taking a sparkler and waving it around. Thats the best way that I can think of to describe it. Its disorienting at times. Does anyone else have this or know why this is happening or what may be causing it?! Its kind of frightening.
Also Having This lot more symptoms too ...
streaking lights
halos, starburst, ghosting
lots of floaters
afterimages
visual snow
Doctors can't figure out what is happening. It is pretty scary.
And When i close my eyes half at a  bright surface i see some like dark black long lines dots [dont nn how to explain it but i did the best]
When to the doctor a 20 days ago should i take a appointment again
how bad all this can go

Thank you!!!
Jamie

Hi,
I am a 20 year old female, and I have been experiencing floaters as well. I had one in my left eye for about a year now, but I recently have noticed about 3 in my right eye. I do wear contacts, and my optomitrist just changed my brand of contact. Is there anything I can do to get rid of these? I find that if I begin to focus on something, the floaters seem to disapear, and once I blink, they are back. Also, if I look @ something dark, its not there, but if its like the sky, I really notice them. Aren't I kind of young to have this many floaters?

Hello cobabyblue   There is nothing you can do about floaters. No medication that will disolve them. No surgery that's justifiable to remove them and laser to break them up is not successful.  At age 20 about 1 in 5 young people have floaters. My floaters starte at age 10.

At 26 about one in five people have floaters. If not flashes and no showers of hundreds of floaters and a recent exam that was normal. Not to worry.

Hey
i am 26 m. Iast month I suddenly noticed 2 floaters in my right eye. Then after one month it increased in number. I dont see flashes or I dont have vision loss. One doctor told its not serious. Still I have to meet an ophthalmologist. When I half close my eye to a bright sky, I can see lots of strands which are dark and light.

Your symptoms don't necessicarily indicate a serious problem. Perhaps you would do well to schedule an examination by a neuro-ophthalmologist.
