Eyeball twitch/jitter

Hi there!

Two days ago my left upper eyelid started twitching quite a bit. I've experienced that on occasion and thought nothing of it. But today my entire left eye has been twitching and jittering. I've been trying to do some readings for classes but can't get very far as my head hurts and I feel sick once I read a bit. Any ideas? I had a fairly full night of sleep and generally don't have any eye problems (no need for glasses). Any advice? It's really quite uncomfortably and freaking me out. Like a rapid little heartbeat in my eyeball.

Use the search feature and archives and read about "myokymia" the most common cause of those type of symptoms. However I would still suggest you see an Eye MD for an evaluation. Find one near you at www.aao.org
