Floaters after neuro problem and prednisopne treatment 3 years ago

Hello,

A brief background:

I am a 27 yr old male and was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma when i was 22.
4-5 months after treatments finished (Chemo+Radiation theapy) i developed a Neuro problem which doctors could not diagnose properly. The symptoms were loss of strength in arms and legs and i nearly was wheel - chair ridden, and was put on Prednisone. Doctors said it could be anything- Gullain barre syndrome or neuro weakness.I started recovery and soon was tapered off Prednisone.
However as my neuro problem was improving, i noticed within a gap of 2-3 months that eye floaters had come up in both my eyes. It was like 5-6 floaters within 2-3 months and gradyally for next two years it increased to 8-10. Even these days, i get an odd new floater up. But the pace of floaters is not as rapid as it was initially.

I got my eyes checked thrice at different and renowend hospitals for retinal detachement but each time the ohpthomalagist suggest thats Retina is perfectly OK and these floaters are just there but no Cause.

I woulsd like to know that could it be some other disease other than retinal detachement? When will floaters start stopping popping up ? Any particular diet recommendation ? Am i at more risk of retinal detachemnt or any other serious eye related problem?

My job is computer related and spend 8-9 hours in front of the computer.

Please suggest.

Dear dceite,

If you experience a change in the number of floaters, a curtain coming down or flashing lights, you should get examined again. Other conditions can simulate floaters such as inflammation inside the eye; however, a retinal specialist examining your retina should be able to distinguish this diagnosis.
