i swear im dying i need to know :(

Im not even sure if i can post this here but i guess i have nothing to lose.  I have been to my doctor for the past 5 months with extreme dizzyness, pressure all over my head, a feeling that im losing blood to my head(u knoe the feeling when u hang upside down), tightness in my neck and a headache that wont go away.  He told me I simply have anxiety, is it possible to have anxiety 24/7 for 5 months straight???  It doesnt go away, its not like in attacks, it is a constant thing.  I also feel dissoriented, if i go somewhere i feel like its all a dream, i have little black spots in my vision all the time as well, they dont ever go away, ringing in my ears and slight ear fog, not ear loss just a muffled sound.  I would love any answer!  I am a single mom of 4 children and I an so scared to not know what is wrong. thank you so much

Also - you probably need to start your new workup with another doctor because you don't seen to be getting anywhere with this doctor.  There could easily be a real physical ailment causing all this.  So get the second opinion.  If anxiety does turn out to be part of the situation, that can definitely be dealt with - but I don't want to jump to conclusions - I completely understand that you are not feeling well at all and deserve some serious medical attention.

You need help in a major way.  Start with a complete medical workup to make sure you don't have an obvious major health problem.  Now if workup is negative your doctor may need to refer you for a psychiatric evaluation for possible anxiety.  And yes, anxiety often lasts 24/7 - just ask any of the millions of americans who have it.  I don't understand how if your doctor thinks your problems are anxiety related, why hasn't done anything to address the problem.

so confused,  I have been experiencing something very similar for 3 years now.    I have the same feeling in my head (heavy headed) that you do,  the only possible difference bettween us is that the black spots I was seeing only lasted a few days into the mess.     I suspect there are other vague symptoms you are having that you haven't bothered listing here due to the sheer complexity and indescribability of what you feel .     For 2 1/2 years my only symptoms were the head pressure and derealization feeling,   then I started having other symptoms, but I am still undiagnosed.    Well, I'm diagnosed with anxiety (hoo hah)...my anxiety is a result of the way I feel , not the cause.    I want to keep in touch with you  please email me anytime robsaysreiax at AOL *******
