Light sensativity

I have dry eye ( moderate to severe ) Occular Rosecea , chronic conjuntivitis,  and after capsolotomy on both eyes-cataract surgery on both eyes- Vitrectomy-- buckle for torn retina- laser for lattice degeneration- I also suffer from light sensativity -  It is tolerable with sealed sunglasses with rv and reflective coating , living in Pa.  My wife and I are thinking about movng to Florida and
concerned that the Florida sunshine may aggravate my eye problems ---   I am taking  tetra cycline for my Rosecea and Celluvisc every hour or two for the dry eye-- A penny for your thoughts???

TheraTears Dry Eye Formulation is an excellent product and is available over the counter.

I had cataract surgery on both eyes at the end of 2007. I have a terrible problem with light sensitivity and didn't think I would EVER get over it. I read on this site that someone recommended TheraTears Nutrition - an omega3/flaxseed oil capsule. The box says you should have relief in 4-6 weeks; however I saw a difference in 3 days and after less than 3 weeks I don't even need sunglasses - the type you are using. I can't tell enough people how this supplement changed my life. (The box also says it is packaged especially for CVS-this is not an advertisement.) I live not so far from Florida and don't think it would be such a big problem since using this remedy. I know exactly what you're going through and no one understands unless you actually go through it. Best of luck!

Please use the search feature, review eye topics and use the archives to look at the extensive discussions of treatment of dry eyes. You should consider tear duct plugs and going on Restasis.

If you would be happier in Florida than Pennsylvania then I would go ahead and move.
