Dear bobbii94,

I would recommend that you seek the care of an eyeMD to determine the cause.  Has this always been like this or was it associated with a recent illness?  Some possible causes of anisocoria or a pupil size disparity include Adie’s tonic pupil, brain tumors, vascular abnormalities, trauma, infections.

You don't mention whether the difference in pupil size is definitely new, definitely not new, or you can't be sure whether or not it is a new problem.  Try to figure this out.

With a change in pupil size and blurred vision, you should ask your parents to arrange an evaluation by a pediatric Eye MD.  You can find one near you by going to www.aapos.org and using the doctor locator.
