First off, thank you to anyone who has the patience to read this. It's going to be a long post because I want to give full details about my eye problems. I have a lot to get off my chest and would really appreciate it if anyone could assist me.
I am a 27 year old male (healthy) and have recently had some vision issues that are concerning me, primarily with my right eye. I'm not even going to try to sugar coat it, I use the computer more than the average person. I am on regularly for at least 10-14 hours a day. It is part of my lifestyle at the moment.
When I was younger (12-13 years old) I was diagnosed with a slight degree of astigmatism in both eyes. Eye glass /prescriptions were made, but I chose to very rarely wear the glasses, because I could still see fine without them and they were uncomfortable to me.
Fast forward to about age 26. I started to notice that I may need to start wearing glasses again because my vision seems to be affecting me to the point where sometimes signs and peoples faces were blurry from a distance. I took out my old glasses that were from my younger days. They seem to still work alright, although not perfect, satisfactory enough. I got a new frame for them because I didn't see the point in buying new glasses if they worked alright.
I started wearing them a little more regularly than I used to, but still only when I really felt I needed to. Again, the glasses were uncomfortable. I grew tired of how uncomfortable they were to wear so I decided to go take an eye test and get some new frames.
It was no surprise that my prescription changed over the course of 13 or so years. After the exam I felt the doctor gave me a proper prescription that seemed to make everything clear. At this point the eye doctor still said it was considered a mild prescription for astigmatism.
