Post pterygium surgery concern

Hi.  I have recently had auto conjunctival surgery for a primary pterygium.  The surgery was approx 5 days ago.  Post operatively I have noticed there is still a small arrow/trianglar shaped piece of tissue that encroaches on my cornea, inside the graft, similar to that of the original pterygium.  Is this normal?

Just wondering if that small arrow/triangular shaped tissue that encroaches on your cornea after surgery healed so that its not on your cornea anymore?  What happened?
