Your first mistake was spending so much time under the "care" of an optometrist. You have the type of symptoms that cannot be diagnosed from history. See the cornea specialist as scheduled. Don't mess up again and wear the contacts.

About 2 weeks went by and everything was going great with the glasses. We went to take our daughter out to the movies and I got the crazy idea to wear my contacts again. Didn't really wear them very long, 8 hours maybe, but when I took them out and put my glasses back on, there was the blur in my right eye again. This time, however, the blur seemed to get worse as the days went by so I rescheduled to see the Dr.
This time he said my cornea was inflammed and prescribed Pred Forte drops. I used them, the inflammation went down but my vision was still blurry in my right eye. He sent me home again and said to not use Pred Forte and to return in 3 days. Instead I went ahead and made an appointment with an opthamologist.
Well I just got back from the opthamologist and they said they have no idea why my vision is blurry. My cornea is fine, retina fine, eye pressure fine..all the tests they took were fine. He referred me to a corneal specialist and said I might have keratitis. However, when I research this disease, the only symptom I have is blurriness. There is no pain, redness, irritation or swelling.
So I guess what I'm looking for is whether there is any other condition that could cause blurriness/ghosting but without pain or any other symptoms? I spend alot of time in front of a computer but eye stress seems too simple for this condition, not to mention I would imagine it would have cleared up by now.
Any help, advice or opinions are appreciated because I'm feeling pretty hopeless about now.
Thanks:)
