Dear OrangeBalloon,
I would keep track of your symptoms, write them down and talk with an eyeMD about them during your visit.

My father, with very, very, very green hazel eyes also has this. Could it be that I never normally examine my eyes, and have just noticed this? I've noticed that my eyes have changed from grey-ish blue-ish eyes to green-grey. I did maths and statistics and am now doing languages, so people actually do describe my eyecolour, weirdly! Even my sister chimed up, when talking to a Turkish man, "Yes, we have so many eye colours, my mum and I are blue-eyed, my dad is hazel-eyed, and X is green-greyish, maybe a bit blue eyed!". I mean, seriously, can I just not have seen that?! I think not. However, I dunno if the yellow-y green-y tint to my dad's eyes is new, but he recently had to get new glasses, because his glasses were too strong for him, and he is very, very, very healthy, as in, the doctor he went to for a checkup was impressed. I'm nowhere near that healthy, but is it genetic colouring or something else? If it's genetic, my eyesight hasn't changed much in the last few years, and I know I have quite good eyesight, and his has actually improved a tiny bit! I've read that your eyes can reflect other ailments in your body, and this got me thinking. I am "blue"-eyed (or whatever), often trying to diet but average weight, and I'm anaemic, prone to heavy stress, with a far from brilliant immune system. The 'green eye' reaction has made me wonder if I'm just a seemingly green mix iris, or what? I mean, I knew a girl with coppery-orange bits in her iris, who had better health than me, although not better eyesight, but she was healthy. I can't help but wonder, though. Is it an eye or general health or totally benign issue? Again, the issue is iris colouration.
