Increased Eye pressure & blurry vision

I have also posted on the neuro-surgeon forum - I will be seeing a ophthomalogist in July and would like some input on what kind of questions to be asking. I have had headaches now for 7 months, been diagnosed with a right sided pituitary tumor and an aneurysm behind my left eye. Both are considered small and not to be affecting the optic chiasm (sp). So with the headaches which always come at night between 8:30 and 10pm but as of late are all the time, In the beginning when I would wake up in the middle of the night my face on the right side around my eye would feel swollen and it would be hard to open my eye. This still happens but lately I have increased blurred vision, the right and left side of my face do not feel the same. It feels strange moving my right eye ( it hurts) and it feels like theres more pressure. My head is also tender to the touch at times. What kind of questions should I be asking or tests should I be requesting.

I'm a little confused about these forums - as I've posted on serveral but have not received a response from a doctor but have seen responses from doctors...etc etc. Hopefully, this is not a duplication and if it is I apologize.

If I post in the medicial community area will I get a response from a doctor or do I just post here in the expert forum?

Thanks alot for your response

Hi AnnaE,

Thanks for your continuous input....I was trying to cover my basis and at the time didn't really understand how people were getting answers from doctors on the community forum. I'm slowly getting the hang of how it all works. Dr. Kutryb gave me probably about what any doctor could say on the forum to what's going on with me. It seems to me I have to figure out how to be a little more specific as well rather than so broad in my questions. A learning curve I'm sure I share with others ;-)

Many thanks

I apologize. You have not received an answer from an MD on the community forum. Dr. Hagan will still review it. Normally, you would hear from 9only one doctor. I realize that you want all the information you can get--like 2 second opinions.

Best,

Anna

I'm sorry but your case is obviously quite complex.  With regard to your visit to the ophthalmologist, most of the focus will be on your vision and any possible eye diseases.  As far as your headaches and facial pains, that is more in the arena of neurology or even neuro-ophthalmology if needed.  I'm sorry but you need the personal attention of your own ophthalmologist.  If you have more specific questions I might be able to be more help.
