Staph infection

My opthalmologist prescribed Erythromycin Ophthalmic Ointment for my eyes. I have been using this for about a month and they don't seem any better. One eye itches on the upper eyelid. Any suggestions?  Thank you.

E-mycin is an antibiotic for eye infections such as styes and blepharitis. If your eye is itching stop the e-mycin. If the itch persists return to the Eye MD for re-evaluation.
