I am a board certified ophthalmologist but not the forum physician. There are a variety of harmless things that might account for your daugher's obervations including vitreous floaters, entopic phenomena (sensations that arise from the structures of the eye).
She should have a medical eye examination with dilation of the pupils but an ophthalmologist. That should identify any problems and give you peace of mind and reassurance that its nothing serious, something I cannot do without an examination.

Thank you for your response. I will have her checked by an ophthalmalogist. She seems really bothered by this. She told me some time ago, but could not articulate the issue very well, so I did not think too much of it. I am familiar with floaters, as I have them, but they are not in color, more transparent with a grey outline. She has told me she avoids looking at lights indoors, because it bothers her. I'll have her checked. Thanks again.
Thanks, for the response. If you feel that drusens are my problem,is it common for them to cause my problem?,can they go away over time?could I have had this and never notice it,my eye doctor looked at my files and he saw small drusens 5 years ago.It was new glasses that made me look thru only one eye. Could Anxety may be the cause of redness, and pain in that eye.THANKS
