Tic-like rasing in upper eyelid

I have been having this weird problem with my upper eyelid for a while.  I don't know if its a tic, spams, tremor, fasciculation, etc., but maybe one of you will.  Whenever i look at somebody and focus on them, my left upper eyelid will raise without me doing it briefly, then will return to normal.  It has given me a lot of anxiety.

If the problem was merely twitching of the eyelid on a random basis the most likely cause would be myokympia.

Your description is different and abnormal. You need to see a general ophthalmologist (Eye MD) or a neuro-ophthalmologist for an evaluation.  Be sure the Eye MD looks at your eyelid  BEFORE any eye drops are put in your eye as that can change the reflex and make it hard to evaluate.
