Update on eye discomfort

Hi there

Just thought id post a quick update..

Been to see opthalmologist on saturday, had eye exam... visual field test etc..

He said i had healthy eyes .. my pressures was still raised but he feels this is due to anxiety pulling away while trying to measure...

Recheck in 9 months... the only thing he saw was one of my optic nerves looks suspicious... but he said that can happen when the pressure is raised.. and told me not to worry.

Im still getting a pain above the eye... almost like a nerve pain.. but i have been told the eyes are healthy.
Could it be something else.

Thanks for your reply... i wont be seeing the opthalmologist for 9 months as thats when i will be checked again.

Its really annoying i feel im no further forwards.

What would make an optic nerve look suspicious if my eyes are healthy????

I will consider going back to gp for more advice.

I suppose so, but that is something to discuss with your personal ophthalmologist.  Consider seeing a neurologist, to look into other causes like trigeminal neuralgia.
