Green Sparkles in my Eyes!

VCI
I don't know how to explain this but here i go.

I know what an afterimage is but this problem had been reacurring to me. Sometimes after i see a source of light or a space where light is bounced off from during the after image i also see  an explosion of green sparkles that last for a second. I don't see it all the time but it has been happening every day since the last couple of weeks of summer. i went to the eye doctor and she said my eyes were normal and healthy but i told them what i was seeing but they couldn't tell me. My family thinks i'm paranoid.

Please help me i'm really scared.

My mom said she was a opthhamalogist and she said my vision was healthy and stuff. Also is this sympton going to lead to any sort of eye damage. Because i see this even when i look at fire sometimes which now of days become more usual.

Will this go away someday or do i haft to live with seeing green sparkles in my vision during an afterimage or not.

Make sure your eye doctor was an ophthalmologist/ eye MD.  If so, don't worry about it.  I've seen multiple patients over the years complain of similar symptoms and it is almost always not a big deal and does not represent any specific disease entity.
