Watery eyes

Hello and could you please let me know if you know of anyway to stop my eyes to water.. Both eyes realease many drops per day and at times peopke ask me if im crying!!! Could there be a deeper problem there?

Thanks for the information.. As soon as i get off this greek island and back to London i will see an Ophthalmologist.. Have a great day...

You could be producing too many tears due to some irritation or allergy - or more commonly there could be a problem with the excess tears making it into and through the nasolacrimal duct system and into the nose.  This can be due to loose or droopy eyelids, previous eyelid surgery, previous nose surgery or trauma, or simple blockage of the nasolacrimal puncta or duct.  In general we call your problem epiphora or tearing and you should see an ophthalmologist in your area to see what the cause of your tearing is and what can be done for it.
