My sister has vision in only one eye and now needs cataract surgery.  How can we find the best cataract surgeon in New Jersey?

For $9.95 you can access the data base at www castleconnolly com.  There are 28 ophthalmologists listed in New Jersey who specialize in cataract surgery.  All of these doctors are board-certified and have been nominated by other doctors as someone whom they would see for their own health care.  You might also get recommendations from your general ophthalmologist if you have one.

I live in San Diego, Ca and am looking for an eye surgeon that advocates monovision as an option for cataract surgery.  The problem is, that I am limited to only 12 doctors because of my Healthnet HMO.   I I have tried to get info via telephone but have not had much luck?  Any advice would be appreciated.
