How can I wear contacts just for my wedding day?

I used to wear contacts every day for about eight to ten hours a day and then I'd take them out at night.  I did this for about eight years and never had any problems until about a year and a half ago.  In November 2009, I was diagnosed with pink eye and was given vigamox.  About a day later I had to go to the emergency room because I was covered in a rash and having problems breathing.  After that, my eye doctor took me off the vigamox and gave me a new prescription eye drop.  It seemed to be working at first, but after a few weeks of the new drop it made my eye pressure skyrocket.  So then I had to go on yet another new eye drop to bring my eye pressure back to normal.  Several months later and many more eye drops later, my eyes finally seemed to be back to normal, but I haven't been able to wear contact lenses for more than an hour (at most) ever since.  I've even been given a different kind of contacts, but it still hasn't helped much.  If I wear contact lenses, my eyes become very bloodshot, irritated and tired.  I've been dealing with it all right because I bought a very expensive pair of very lightweight glasses (so I can wear them most days for an extended period of time without getting a headache).  However, I'm getting married in less than two months and I'd really like to not have to wear glasses with my wedding dress.  Is there anything I can do so I can tolerate wearing my contact lenses for just one day?  I've tried to see if its just that my eyes need to readjust to wearing contacts again, but that doesn't seem to be working.  If the solution is that I need to see an eye doctor again, how can I find the best eye doctor in my area?  I really don't want to have to try several more eye drops or to end up in the emergency room again.

Try a 1-day disposable contact.  I like 1-day Acuvue moist, but there are newer brands on the market.  There is no need to store these contacts in solution--you just throw the away at the end of the day.

find cornea specialists in your area on www.aao.org and call them to see who specializes in contact lenses.  You may have to try multiple brands on different days between now and the wedding to find one that you could keep in for 6-8 hours.  Hopefully, there is a brand out there that will work.
