dots in centre of eye

Hi, I'm 19 years old and in good health.

I usually see this dot in the centre of my eye, it's like a blinking spec but when I close both my eyes, I can still see it. It's the same in both eyes, when one is shut and the other is open, I can still see it. Is this my vision, or is this my brain gone on a frit? I also see floaters/visual snow. (I also deal with anxiety, don't take no medication for my anxiety either. It's under control). I'm near-sighted.

So a stationary floater, I would be able to see bilaterally? in both eyes, in the same spot; every time? (Also sometimes it looks like it's exploding; i.e. One will be there, then another, then a another.)

The "dot" most likely originates in your eye not in your brain. The possibilities are a relatively stationary floater, an entoptic phemonema. Pathology causing this is less likely.

Google "Amsler Grid" read how to test yourself, print out a grid and monitor the spot. You anxiety will make anything and evrything that affects your body bother your more.

You need a comprehensive medical eye examination by a eye physician (Eye MD or Ophthalmologist).
