NO they don't go, but you get used to them as your brain learns to ignore them. Please, don't be scared, I've read lots of articles and nowhere does it say that floaters are associated with other more worrisome conditions. Somebody told me to drink more water, but did not provide any medical justification for this advice. So... I don't like water and keep drinking coffee and wine. But who knows? maybe drinking plenty of water can help.
I to have floaters I get so depressed over them I heard the eventually go I don't no I'm scared
Hi,
The floaters are called Posterior Vitreous Detachments (PVDs). They don't get worse during pregnancy, but your vision can temporarily change during pregnancy which may seem to make the floaters worse. Floaters are very annoying, but there currently is not much that can safely be done about them. Hopefully in the future there will be some medication which can dissolve the floaters.
Best wishes,
