eye pain, fixed pupil

hello,i have been experiencing pain behind left eye on and off for a while. i believe it is associated with autoiimune disease. it comes with flares and improves somewhat with mobic.
i have been diagnosied relapsing polychondritis. my left eye-ear is more symptomactic. ( left eart snhl)
this morning i awoke with fairly sharp eye pain, left . and my pupil was larger than rt, and fixed, as far as i could see.i could see my right pupil change., left seemed fixed and painful. i was concerened but went back to bed. it was better when i awoke 3 hours later, but still painful. (squeezing type pain)
had seizure 3 yrs.ago, dx toxic enchaphilits, by er neuro, because of mix of low dose naltrexone (autoimmune) and ambien (12.5 cr) my home neruo thought maybe TIA, and another neuro thought hasmimotos encehlalitis. i discontinued the ldn.
anyway, my mom has temporal arteritis, ( dx lsate and shortly after  permanet blindess in one eye) my ent said i would likely too. my sed rate is normal, at last check 6 months ago. my face and eyes are very puffy at night, too. i believe my cocnern about this is well placed, but not sure to bother doc. i know rp is a vascil;itide and am concerned about arteritis. rhuem has ordered ct scan orbit, which i will do as soon as i can get bloods done, for contrast.  am i ok to wait? to told my rhuem that one pupil larger than other but forgot to mention fixed, non reactive ( my assessemt, forgive me). am pretty symptonatic now with flare.taking plaquenil and dr. adding imuran most likely next. i am away for the month. probably leaving something out. also rt. sided facial tremor, essential i think, and PN. 3 years prior high interocular pressure, but maybe from pred forte.thanks in advice for advice & time.

Dear elb743,

A flare up of your relapsing polychondritis warrants a visit to an eyeMD to have your eye checked.  It is possible that you have an episode of inflammation inside the eye and definitely should be examined.  You may require additional medications.
