eyelid

I went to bed lastnight with my eye a little sore but thought nothing of it when I woke up my eye was pufffy but not too bad and had crusty stuff all around it when I woke. I did not put on my contacts today and left my eye make up off affraid it would mess my eye up even more. It burns when I close it and I tryed to flip up my eyelid to see if there were any bumps and I believe there is a big one on my eyelid. Will this go away on its own or do I have to have it removed? It is only my eyelid that is in pain.
Thank you!

Good idea to keep contact lens out.  Could be conjuctivitis or possibly a chalazion or a foreign body of the conjuctiva.  Get it checked out tomorrow by ophthalmologist so this problem doesn't get much worse.

sounds like pink eye "conjunctivitis".  You need to go to the dr ASAP becuase it can be VERY contagious!!!
