WILL recurrent Vitreous hemorrhage causes BLINDNESS?

I had my Vitreous hemorrhage 2 year before, when I wake up early in the morning I saw black spots in lefy eye
are obstructing the vision.  I approached an Optholmogist, he treated me without mentioning the disease name
by giving a eye drop.

Later in June-2008, suddenly again eye vision blurred and after 5 days of diminishing the vision I went a
famous Eye institue in Hyderabad, India.  They said its Vitreous hemorrhage and the gave me laser treatment.

This has recurred thrice until now, October,2007 and feb,2008 and may,2008.  Now, I am an employee for a
company in Middle East.  Becz, company is not giving medical insurance, I approached an Indian famous Optholmogist
He gave me a good cheaper treatment for 2 recurrances by giving accular, Catalin and fluca like eye drops which
helped a lot in obsorbing the blood to 90%.

Now It recurred for 3rd time.

MY QUESTION IS , WILL IT CAUSES BLINDNESS IF NOT TREATED IN TIME?????

Pls. give me guidance @ your earliest..

Thanks and Regards

Only your Eye MD ophthalmologist can answer that question. Recurrent vitreous hemorrhage is serious and could lead to blindness. It's important to know what this is happening.

The most common cause would be diabetes.
