Three weeks ago my mom had great pain in her left eye, swelling, redness, and especially a strong decrease of vision. She saw an ophthalmologist and said that surgery ( she had a replacement of the crystalline few years ago because she was almost blind) and the doctor said that the is intact and now has something else and as a result gave her medication for inflammation. The decrease eye sight was not pronounced because was too ill. He assumed it was something infectious and sent us to a specialized institute to test for a source of infection; anti-biogram and other tests came out negative. They gave her some bad results on other parameters related to the physician. Here we were recommended cardio which suspecting that vision loss can come from a poor circulation of blood to the head and intraocular pressure. My mom has also a high blood pressure for several years. What can be wrong?
