It may take several months sometimes, but I suspect that within a few weeks you should note a big difference. If a good amount of blood is still in there floating around in the vitreous after 3 to 6 months, then surgery could possibly be considered in some cases.
MJK MD
11/13/09 MD eye dr told me that I have fluid behind my left retina and need to see a retina specialist. I am a little blurred right now. a little dry eyes. otherwise eye pressre 17/15= R/L. My eyes feels tired easily (both eyes) even I did not use them too much. Optician was the one detected first. But she said I have a hole nearing macualr area. she also mentioed epithelia(?) membrane. The MD dr is a bery young dr, she provided no answeres for the following question.
1. what causes it? 2. what can I do to help myself; 3. is this related to kidney problem?
I am taking HTN pill Cardizem 120 mg daily.
I took a fall on 5/10/09 left face down, saw "stars" and bumped my left two insicisors (still sensitve by now).
Thank you so much. I am only 52 and very worried.
