I've already told you what to do. Your child needs a lumbar puncture to determine her intracranial pressure. Migraines do NOT cause optic nerve swelling. Take her to a pediatric ophthalmologist. Find one at aapos.org.
my daughter is in her second episode of optic nerve swelling this vision field test she has blind spots occuring the doc was unable to perform spinal tap but I need this to be cured I don't want my 11 soon to be 12 daughter blind the mri came back normal and the nuerologist sent her home on topamax treating her as a migrane i need furhter advice
The cause of the optic nerve swelling MUST be found. I assume she's already had an MRI. On the basis of the MRI, they evidently feel she should have a lumbar puncture. So there is no such thing as "unable to perform spinal tap". Get her to a facility that can deeply sedate her, or put her to sleep, to get the lumbar puncture performed.
