How big should your natural blind spot be?

If I close my eye & hold my finger about 6 inches from my face, I can almost make my whole finger disappear. Is that about the normal size or enlarged?

I cannot give you an exact width of the normal blindspot at 6 inches.

Oh actually, I did just mean the tip I'm sorry. I meant width wise not length. Is this normal?

No that 's bigger than normal. Usually it would be part of the tip.

See an ophthalmologist. you may need a visual field exam also.'
