vision problems

Brief history, I am 32 yr old female I have high blood pressure, over weight an pre-diabetic.  I have been to an opthomoligist, which said I have dry eyes.  I have a regular drop I put in daily.  However, my vision is still not right!  I wake up with gunk in my eyes every morning an I always feel like my vision is cloudy, not clear.  I feel like I have to concentrate a little harder see things.  I don't know what else to do!!!  I also suffer from anxiety which makes things 100 times worse.

Go to www.geteyesmart.org and find an ophthalmologist near you and get in to see a physician. You can also read the article on dry eyes i wrote which appears on this page.

Anxiety makes everything worse.  Treatment of anxiety with appropriate medication and cognitive behavior therapy is hugely successful. Be sure you are under the care of a psychiatrist.
