? about Follistim injections

ok, I have done two cycles of Follistim with an IUI.

The first cycle I did 75 units a day.  Had 4 mature follicles at the time of IUI.  Didn't get preg. (obviously) and ended up with hyperstimulation...which made me completely miserable for two weeks.

The second cycle I did 50 units a day.  I ended up having to take the shots twice as long as normal just to have 1 mature follicle on the day of the IUI.  No pregnancy (again, obviously).

My question is this.  I'm about to do a third round of Follistim.  I don't want to do 50 units again for sure.  Do you think I should do 75 units and run the risk of hyperstimulation again??  That way, I'm more likely to have mature follicles at the time of the IUI.  Or should I ask do to something like 65 units a day, and run the risk of not having as many follicles but at least I won't have over stimulated ovaries?
Any thoughts??

My RE had me start high and each night drop down a little.  I think started at 125 for 2  days then 100 then to 75 then to 50.  I had an u/s every other day and then the RE would tell me how many ccs to give myself.  Are you getting u/s often?  They can see how your follys are developing and to increase it or decrease it.  I also had as some hyperstim.  I had 2 iui's both unsuccessful.  But it doesn't hurt to talk to your RE about your options.  Good luck!
