about 10 days ago, I was diagnosed with 5mm endometrium. I am 40 yeard old, newly wed and trying to conceive for 7 months. I have never been pregnant, was on the pill for 20 years.
Last week I found out I am pregnant (naturally !!!) and my HCG level for week 4.5 was 383. My 1st visit to the OB is next week. My concern is that on day 25 (from beginning of cycle) I had 5 mm lining, so, how does that affect the continuation of this pregnancy and is miscarriage
inevitable? is it possible the the lining has thickened since then ? It is now day 38. Just so worried until my first visit, as I have been reading everywhere that the normal range is 8mm-13mm.
But the good signs are that it must be at least 2 weeks since conception now, I feel good and no spotting
First off, let me say congrats on your pregnancy!! I want to say that the thickness of the lining has to do with the implantation process but I'm not totally sure. Of course you're already past that so I would "THINK" that you should be okay. Your numbers are great and I think you should try not to worry too much. You don't want to cause anymore stress than you need. Remember, there is NOTHING you can do from now till your doctor's visit so try to stay positive. Everything sounds good to me since you have high numbers and no signs of bleeding.
