6dp5dt and faint line on HPT this morning!!!

So....Friday I caved and bought some HPT. When I got home I realized I bought the "Rapid Results" tests instead of the early result ones. So, of course the POAS addict I am, I tested anyway and got a negative. This morning, I decided to try again and I got a faint second line. SOOO excited!!  It's the most I have gotten in 2.5 years!  So, I'm being cautiously optimistic!!!  I think tomorow I will buy some FRER's and try again. To have a faint line on a test that isn't an early result one is a good sign I think!!!

BETA isn't until Wednesday!  But I'm excited!!!

I did the ones that say Pregnant / not pregnant  I got a BFP.........I am going to test again the am & have my 1st Beta tomrrow & then again on wed.

Alt- Thanks!  I'm wondering if it is too early to test with the ones that say pregnant/not pregnant!  I think I will try that one on Tuesday.  The day before my beta.  I'm sooo exited and I am praying that they stick too!

I would say wait a bit on the digitals - they are a little less sensitive and I didn't even bother with one til after my beta.  If you get a digital I'd spend the extra $'s and get a FR digital gold - they are way more sensitive than the clearblue digis, and it is so fulfilling to see that "yes"!!  Congrats again!

I'm in the same boat - I am 10dpiui - I tested yesterday with one of those tests from Earlypregnancytests.com and got a faint 2nd line - I tested again this morning and the 2nd line is still there still light but looks a little darker than yesterday - I called my dr and the nurse told me the ovidril is only in my system for 5-7 days so it is probably for real - and they moved my BETA up to Wednesday instead of Friday - I am so nervous and excited I wanna scream - even though I keep telling my husband don' t get excited yet!  I wanna jump up and down - LOL  We have been trying for 4 years

I go on Wednesday morning.  I just took a First Response Early Detection and it was still positive....very light line though.  Kinda makes me nervous.  It's just as light as it was yesterday on a test that wasn't an early detection.  You still think it's ok?  I didn't do a digital one thinking it may be a little too soon....

My office does 2 Beta & the first one they will never give phone call.  The 2nd is on wed.  They don't want to give anyone false hope because sometimes #1 is very low & then comes back.  They only confirm after the 2nd.  I then like you Gracie have to wait for a phone call in the pm.  Give me your cell #'s & I will text you all. LOL  I work until 4pm so you will otherwise have to wait. LOL

I am not sure about the ultrasound part.  I guess when it's confirmed I will have to go another day.  What do they look for on first ultra sound? Can they see a fetus already?

The test I did yesterday says Pregnat.  It was not the one with two lines.  That is the one I did today & one line is very very faint...looks negative.???? UGH

As long as you have two lines, no matter how faint, means you have HcG in your system.  I think it is too early for it to be a bold colored line.  A "pregnant" on a digital test is very reassuring.  Your trigger shot is out of your system, right?

I believe the trigger should be out of my system.  It was 12/1/09 when I took it.  Today is the 15th I think so it's like 2 weeks now.........that is enough right?  I will post again in am b4 goign to work.

Yeah, that was 13 days ago.....I would think it would be out.  The normal dose is 10,000 units and they say as a rule of thumb, it takes one day per 1000 units.  So 10 days would do it.  I had 5000, so 5 days for me....make sense?

I got postitive again today.......I am sure it's fine & believe I am still prego.  I think maybe the test had a light line & couldn't see it.
I have such pain in my chest like heartburn last night.  I couldnt sleep.  I never had that before..but I think that is what it was.  Ohhhhhhhh soooooo tired.  Now off to work i go.

I was reading a website last night about pregnancy tests & was very helpful & it said as long as there are two lines...you are most likely pregnant.

Thank you - I read that on the early pregnancy tests website - but I am just so nervous that the bw will be negative - I don't have a good track record for my bean sticking - I had 2 miscarriages in the past one at 7 weeks and one was considered a chemical pregnancy - I found out on a monday and m/c Friday

By this time tomorrow i will know for sure - so I will keep everyone posted - Fingers crossed.

Amy- I didn't test again today.  I'm going to first thing in the morning before my bloodwork.  I haven't since yesterday...it was def a darker second line!  I don't think as dark as it could have been, but it was dark!  Not too many symptoms yet, just a little tired and MOOOODDDDYYYY.  Big time mood swings.

Good luck - I went for my BETA this morning too - I should hear something by this afternoon.  I had 3 faint positives but I am still so nervous - I couldn't sleep lastnight and I feel so sick I am so nervous.

Kricket - 84 is a FINE number!  I had a 60 at 13dpo, and mine kept tripling from then  on instead of doubling.  Then two more sacs appeared and they thought it could be triplets!  Then those two sacs never grew and it was just one healthy baby.  I'm now 14 weeks.  Everyone is DIFFERENT!  84 is fantastic!  Even people with twins don't necessarily have high numbers or vice versa - people with singletons have really high numbers.  The important thing is that it doubles every 48-72 hours, and even that is just a guideline.  Everyone is different.  Try not to worry and I hope things continue to go well for you!!!

Heather - I hope you post soon!  I have to know what your beta was!!

Hey babygirl!! Sorry its taken a while for me to get back to you!!! Congrats on your numbers!!! And Yes,,,I did have more than one embryo transferred. Two to be exact :D the early preg. test and high beta has the fert. clinic thinking,,,Twins! But,,we all know that there's been some ladies with the exact same numbers as your's and they carried twins :D  and then again,,some other ladies had numbers that sky rocketed and they were carrying singletons.
