9 day leutal phase

Hi, I charted for the first time and realized I charted a 9 day luteal phase. from what I read this is not good cause the egg doesn't have time to attach. Could I just be having an off month?

It could be an off-month. Many women have strange or anovulatory cycles every once in a while. If you chart for several months and see the same pattern, it is definitely something to ask your Dr. about.

Are you determining day of ovulation using ov predictor kit or bbt? My bbt does not rise until 2 days after ovulation (3 days after LH surge on ov kit). My RE told me to count day one of luteal phase as day after LH surge, not day of first high temps. That makes my luteal phase 2 days longer than I originally thought it was...
