Morn' y'all!!!

oooh ooh.... family picnic! I'm there!  I will bring the seafood - salmon (smoked and canned, makes awesome 'tuna like' sandwiches; halibut, shrimps, clams...) all fresh from the waters!  

I hear y'all about the weight gain!  I still have the 'muffin top' from previous cycles. You know what I mean... you go to put on a pair of your prior to ivf pair of jeans, and discover that they are so tight, that not only do you have them riding up your rear, but you have spillage over the top of them (aka muffin top) and the start of camel toe!  That happened to me this morning... I am discovering that most of my 'last years' dress pants don't fit so comfortably anymore!

We are planning a trip to Hawaii in March. So if we aren't preggo by Christmas (I won't travel less than 12 weeks - meaning either we get preggo by Christmas, or ivf will be put on hold until April).... as I was saying if we aren't preggo by Christmas, it will be serious diet time for dh and I BOTH, and my 'girls' will be getting some special attention by a plastic surgeon.

I too hated the fertility treatment weight gain...it's hard to stay positive when you just feel yucky and like you are a slobby person. Look at it this way...when you get your BFP, you will gain alot more weight!

Yea I take the shot in the morning but only the Lupron that stays always the same (10U).
when I did the fresh cycle I also had to do the follistim and menopur at night so to be able to change dosage.
I'm so angry at the weight gain today..I feel HUGE....

Miky-You take your shots in the morning? Our place had me take them in the evening so if there was a need to change the dosage it could be done on the day that they decided such.

Juana-I decided that those two embies will be the stickiest ones ever! And you can tell them I said that.

Sally-Your DH needs to somehow experience the females version of pain and discomfort....working on a plan to achieve that.

Gah! Peeing a million times a day mean hand washing a million times a day and my poor hand are all dry and peeling now....suggestions of a good moisterizer?

Off to the u/s now!  *giddy giddy* Will update you gals once we get home....I think there may be a lunch out involved...yay!

Sally, we hae decided to put back 2 embryos this time. Hope your Dh feels better...for your sanity!

Today is going to be so friggin hot! Our company picnic today (over 500 peeps) and because I helped organize it, I will be outdoors from 11am-5pm! I am going to bake. It's supposed to be 90+ degrees today. I am not in the mood for this.

One of the meds I am taking is making me super duper gassy (sp?)..too bad for  DH...tee hee...he's like dang girl! WTF was that! LOL!!

The provera they are making me take to bring my period makes me dizzy, sick to my stomach and sleepy...What we go through!

Well that's my complaint for the morning1

I'm on Lupron already 16 days and it makes me CRAZY(last 2 days added estrogen pills)!!I gained 4 pounds the first frigging weekend and I just found out that  I gained another one yesterday IT MAKES ME SOOOOOOOOO MAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Today i'm going to fast and we'll see what is going to happen. ;-)
Its easy to decide to fast at 9.30 AM..we'll see what will happen later .

Amberlee.. They should build a monument to you & yours .. heehee.. I totally feel for you regarding the back problems.  That stinks.  And I TOTALLY wouldn't share my punkin pie.. F- him and his no good, no buying punkin pie self  :)

Juana.. Glad your cousin is doing better.  Did you ever say how many embies you puttin in for your FET?

So far, DH's Ebola virus hasn't killed him. Although based on his whining, I was so sure it would.  Last night there was lots of juices, soup and of course cold medicine and advil to make sure he is in tip top shape.. groan.  And even though I felt like poo, I went to the grocery at 9pm just to get away from him.  I Love that man with all my heary, but a sick man is a crybaby and was tried of hearing bout it.  I'm pretty sure I'll get the cold(ebola) next and have to fend for myself.  
and yep.. AF is here, with a vengence.I bought stock in Tampax last night so Ill be rollin in the dough soon  :)

My cousin is doing great, thanks for asking. They were able to identify two of the fools and are going to court next week. His parents plan to press charges..I also told him that he needs to apologize to his parents because he was somewhere they told him not to go!!! He even lied about where he got shot at because his mom had warned him about hanging out at the park, even in the day time!!! He was chasing some little girls and it almost got him killed. He's a good kid, just made the wrong deision and it almost cost him his life!!! I think he learned his lesson.

I really hope August is a lucky month, as I am going to start my cycle in August too!!!

Spoke to the clinic today, and I am to go in for BW and US on day 2-4 of my next cycle.  I am not exactly sure when that is coming, but should be in the next 7-10 days.  Sal and Sav, send AF to both me and Tijuana!  After I get the results from baseline, the meds will be ordered and I should start my protocol on day 22.  So, assuming AF comes soon, August is my month too!!!

Tijuana, I am really glad to hear that you have a great nurse.  Funny, b/c I spoke to a nurse today at my clinic (Oak Brook office) and she royally pissed me off.  Please just give me a straight answer and quit beating around the bush with this p*u*s*s*y momma boy s*h*i*t!!!  If I wanted to smell roses, see sunshine and talk about rainbows, I will tell you, otherwise for the love of G-- please be up front with me!!!

Ok, Tijuana and Amberlee, I have to ask...can you REALLY swing the twins around and hit someone?  That is impressive, back ache or not!  Dang!!! I want some!  (of course I want to "unscrew them at night and put them on the bedside table", just like Tijuana said a few weeks ago!).

Amberlee, that is plain disgusting that you have to deal with tarantulas and scorpions!  YUCK!  That along with the heat are 3 reasons why I could never live in NV.  EEEEEKS!!!  You are a far better woman than I, my dear.

Ok, in my imagination, I am thinking about a "reunion" of sorts with all the different food from the different areas of the country we live in (Sam, you bring the HaliBUTT, Tijuana and I will bring the Chicago pizza, Helen brings the BBQ, Sas brings the Philly cheesesteak sammies, etc.) plus all of our sweet babies that are perfect in every way.  Add a lot of adult beverages, and a really hot man to serve us, and I call that a perfect day!

Hi All!

Sam - That is too funny! I was laughing so hard, my DH was looking at me like I was crazy. I don't thinkI have ever been a B. I think I was an A then a C then a DD now a triple D! I am scared of what the baby will bring!

Okay, So I had my appointment today and they were all so very nice. My new nurse is just an Angel. Everything went extremly well and now I am on the hunt for AF..Sall and Savanah, please send her my way! I AM READY!! They are putting me on provera to help jumpstart my period. I will continue on the current protocol. My DH also had to find out with the nurse from hell putting through his referral..to no surprise, the broad didn't even start the procedure for that...he requested that two weeks ago. So this chick..Marianne, is not doing her job. I don't know what they are going to do with her...My new nurse is the head of nursing there, I think, and she gave me her direct line and e-mail address and told me to call even if I think the question is stupid!!  She is very thorough and has already called me twice today to follow up on soe other things they needed to do...Sooo, if all goes well, I will be transferring the midde of August!!!

WOO HOO! Ithink Augst will be our month!!! Mounds and Mounds of Baby dust to all of us!!!

wow, i dont have to worry about any animals, its the scorpians and turantulas that you have to worry about find in your cars here! =X

luckily we dont have the scorpians in our neighborhood but we have a turantula thing that is just everywhere and i am PERTIFIED(sp) of spiders! i cant look at them, even on tv, or cartoons, or like pest control ads. they CREEP me out. so when i see a little spider around, ill scream and DH (Jason) makes fun of me and calls me such a baby!!! whatever shut up!! lol ..... youll be doing the same thing with the first diaper change!! anyway, did he get to watch the bears playing with the car? at least thaat would kinda make it worth it! insurance covers that stuff right?

ahh yes.... work.... me too... sitting at my desk trying to get warm - have space heater on and drinking some really hot coffee.... also trying to wake up!

Get this... I work at an aviation hangar, and we are basically located near the inlet surrounded by parks, trails, and a great amount of forrest.  A fellow coworkers car was mauled last night by a momma bear and her two cubs. Well, scratched pretty good anyway....they made a toy out of it, bumping on it and trying to climb it.... glad I was already gone for the day.

Don't you know the pets have prepared you for parenthood!  LOL!!  (we have two dogs and a cat, and I swear the dogs are worse than 2yr. olds some times! ---- tracking in mud, eating slippers, chewing up unmentionables, regurgitating dog doo... oh yes, my dogs recycle, and then have rewarded us more than once by barfing it back up for us....

Twins will be fun! They will always have a playmate!!!

Are you and Savanha living together? You know when women live together and like each other their cycles coordinate.... hmmmm... are we all going to be August girls?  VOTE ... BFP for AUGUST !!!

Savanha - ooohhh Red Bull and Vodka.... I'm not as think as you drunk I am!  If you like red bull, you will LOVE this combo, although it comes with a warning. I can drink usually 4 of them (made strongly - 3shots of vodka to one can of red bull), but I tell you, when the red bull wears off, it's good night sammy!  OUT for the count!

Amberlee - I swear sometimes men can pick up the slightest hints, then other times you have to club them upside the head with a frying pan. I think men just want us to say 'go to the store!"  I know for holidays, if I want something particular, I go to the store and put it on hold. I then tell dh, this is what I want, this is where it is at, it is under my name, go buy it, wrap it, and surprise me. Then, other times dh surprises the h-e-l-l  out of me.
ooooooooooh mashed taters.... we had chicken fried steak, corn on the cob, and mashed taters for dinner tonight.... my belly still hurts from eating too much!

Kele - TMI! just kidding... . With our last cycle my rear broke out in blisters from the PIO, so our next round I believe will be inserts - joy joy-can you hear the sarcasm?  Which is the lesser of the two evils - blisters or wetness? ouch and ick!  I feel for you!!! When doing a cycle I live in sweats and flannel pj bottoms! So attractive, but they are easy and comfortable!

Tijuana - I am happy to hear they caught a few of the punks! I hope all the best for your family! God Bless!

Krista - DEAL! I have lots of BUTT in the freezer, wrapped and vacuumed sealed by us personally!  Just let me know where to send it :-)
As for your clinic... sorry your nurse is on vacation. But, you sound like you are going to be an August girl too :-)  

Amberlee and Tijuana - no fair! If I tried to titty smack my husband he would look at me and say wtf was that? I felt something breeze by.... my lil' ol' barely b's don't make the cut.  And whats scarrier... after my mom had my sister and I she had NO BOOBS until she hit 55, and that's only because she gained 75lbs (okay, my mom is tiny, went from 110 to 185 lbs in 3 year time... but stilll... no boobs for almost 35years!!!)

Well, I too shall say good night, but I will be here for at least another hour or so, it's only 8:50pm here.... time to surf and play games :-)

DID YOU KNOW... that after you have kids, that will all change?!  hee hee....

Amberlee--I don't even understand why they would be monitoring your HCG at this point. Very stupid to tell you the numbers, scare you to death, and then explain that they mean nothing. HELLO?? Anyway, you are sooo hormonal, and selfishly, I am ghlad to hear I am not the only one who has pitched fits over silly stuff. Now, don't bite, I know pie is serious business right now!!! And I am just starting to be able to relate to you and Juana about big bajungas. I used to be a 34B and now I am a very tight 38D! No smacking with these, though. They still hurt sooo bad :-(

Kele--I am so sorry about your suppository discomfort. I never used those but I still have to use phenergen in my bootie sometimes for nausea, and it really can chafe a girl bad. I also have had the bursting tummy, and just don't wear pants or shorts or anything that buttons anymore. It's all dresses and skirts now. And I hear you about no sweets and all sour/tangy. I have been craving the sour from day one, and sweets make me feel ill. I drink a lot of lemonade, and last week ate a bunch of gummy sours and sour patch kid candies, which I woule never normally do.

Juana--I am glad your cousin is doing better and that the school district is taking action. How are you, besides AF?

Savanha--Whatever you are smoking, I will take some!

I agree these dillweeds that resent kids perhaps were expecting something else when they had kids. I don't know, maybe I am wrong and will be one of those haggard, overworked, whiny moms also, but I hope to God that doesn't happen. I mean, I am 37 years old, I have had my fun and was a nanny for a living and worked in day care for years. What else are me and dh gonna do now besides raise kids? Be 40 or 50 and hang out in the bars? Start swinging? Hoarding pets and get like 15 cats? (We have 2 cats and a dog already). For real! yes, I am having twins, and yes it will be hard, but. . .I have always wanted kids since I was like 18 and I waited long enough.

Sorry if I missed anyone but my back hurts so gotta go. . .
