Another Provera question?

Another Provera question?

First I would like to say thank you for all those who reply to my post and information can be helpful. When I was 18 I miscarried at 5 months. I am now 23 married and wanting to start our family.  I have a normal and healthy uterus, ovaries, and tubes. I have normal hormone levels. I have been taking provera sience August and each month they come on time. Well October's period came as surprise and on time. well then following the doctors instructions I waited the 28 days in hope that I would have a natural period. No luck:(  so I took the Provera and it have been 4 days and still no period. I wondering if I could be pregnant?

Well, provera is a progesterone supplement, so technically you could be pregnant while taking it. However, most women who take it are on it to "trick" their bodies into starting a period and they usually don't ovulate on their own. So, I'm a little surprised you're taking it if all your hormone levels are already normal. If they were, you wouldn't really need provera to start your period every month. But you never know...maybe the previous months on provera helped "kick-start" your normal cycles again and you did in fact ovulate on your own this month...and get pregnant! If I were you, I would take a test! At 4 days late, it should be pretty accurate!

Best of luck!!!
