Can I be sterile at 18 years old?

I 'm 18 years old. I have 3 years that I havent had a period. I waited 3 years to go to the gynecologo because I'm virgen. When we whent to vacations finaly i went to the doctor. He diagnostic was that i had cystadenoma of ovarian serous in my right ovary. The ovary was removed. The tumor was Benign. The question that i have is it possible to became sterile because i have had so mucho time without a period. I have 1 month and a half since i had surgery and i still havent had a period. The doctor told me to take lutoral and mercilon

Have you tried just taking birth control to regulate your periods. Also to bring down a period you can take provera ask your doc about these.
