I haven't had a period in a month and i was wondering can i still ovulate and ttc baby #1? I have been having really wierd cramping in my ovaries and sleeping alot but i have tested and it came out neg. So just wondering can still ovulate if i don't have a period. thanks for the help and the suppot.
I hope I can explain this clear enough. After o, you should see af 10-16 days (depending on the length of your Lp). The thing is, if you don't know when o is, you won't know when to expect af. Opks can help a lot at pinpointing o. The follicular phase(the time from cd1 until o) can vary cycle to cycle. I have had some really long ones myself. But, from the point of o until af (Luetal Phase) should stay pretty consistant every cycle. Mine is usually 14 days. Sometimes 13, sometimes 15, but always very close. If I didn't explain this clear enough, please ask. It is hard to write it rather than say it, lol.
In a nut shell, approx 14 days after o, you should have a period. But, the fact that you haven't had a period yet doesn't mean you won't or haven't o'd. If your period doesn't start, you may need prometrium or the like to get it started.
