Estrogen after IVF

Hi I had my transfer on 12-10-10 we transfered 5 embroys at day 5. My estrogen prior was 312 and on the fourth day after IVF it was 178 is that bad sign? I took a test today 5 days after the transfer and it was negative is it to soon?

Probably too early to test. Remember that would only be the equivalent of 10 dpo. As for the estrogen level, I'm not really sure what's normal after transfer. My RE never tested any levels after transfer, but he did say that estrogen levels are not as important as progesterone. That's why some RE's prescribe an estrogen supplement and some don't.  I guess there's no real evidence that an estrogen supplement helps...while progesterone is crucial in aiding and sustaining a pregnancy.
