Having brown-black period with Mirena normal

Having brown-black period with Mirena normal

I've had complications with my Depo-Shot. I was on the Depo for about 6 months. I was having a brownish-blackish "period" off and on the entire time. It was ruining my sex life and marriage. So I went with the Mirena IUD. After the first week, I had intercourse. After the intercourse, I've been having this brownish-blackish "period" again. And its been non-stop for the past 4 weeks. What is wrong with me? Someone please help, this is ruining my life!
And my next question is how long do you bleed after getting the Mirena IUD removed? Much answers will be appreciated!

Hello,
Bleeding after removal of Mirena IUD is found in some women but it persists for only two or three days. If you are having increased or heavy and prolonged bleeding after removal of IUD, it has to be evaluated by a gynecologist and pelvic examination needs to be done. If there is any increased bleeding then an urgent gynecological consultation is required to prevent any anemia.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
