How soon can you ttc after a laprascopy?

Well I got my lap surgery rescheduled for May 14th..I'm just missing one of my final exams..oh well. But anyways, I'm supposed to get AF the week after my surgery. Do you think that they will start me on my injections and clomid then or do I have to wait another month?? I asked my doctor this and he said we could try right after..but I don't know if that means...a week after?? Anyone have any thoughts?

We bd'd a week after my lap since that's when I O'd but it also may depend on what was found and done during your lap.

well we have to do IUI because we are using a donor..my DH can't have anymore kids. I was just wondering if they would put me on all the injections and do the u/s a week after surgery like that? I really hope that we can do it so I don't have to wait until June!

Are yall going to try and do another IUI  wit the injections and clomid or al natural?  I would think that if you do IUI you could start that next month... I had my lap and wanted to bd that next week since that was O time, but defintely wouldn't have been able to, they did a lot of work on one of my ovaries and  bding would not have been tolerable i dont' think!   but an IUI wouldnt' be bad almost three weeks later at all.. ummm so not sure, but i would think that it would bd just fine to go ahead! AF was a little off the month of my lap , it was late and very short (though i hear a lot of people have very heavy af's afterwards) i did bleed after the surgery for a couple of days though.. GOOD LUCK!!
