Ovulation and exercise

Hi.  Just wondering if people worry about doing exercise around ovulation.  Lately, when I know I will be ovulating I tend to avoid the gym to keep my energy up.  (My accupuncturist has said this to me).  So I have been avoiding the gym.  But on the other hand, I vowed to myself that I wouldn't get too worked up about the whole baby thing and carry on as 'normal'.  Do other people think about this?

My RE made me stop all exercise except walking and weights.  He said the stress hormones released during intense exercise can really mess with your fertility hormones.

I have kept my workouts low key since starting ttc, and by low key I mean hardly existent yikes!! (and now over a year later, i feel sooo out of shape!!!) but I sware i'm getting back to the gym this month (its also my first medicated cycle) but I'm just going to do low impact things, no running or anything that "jolts" me etc.. This is the time when i need to run the most to relieve all the stress that ttc brings!!!  Good luck!!!
