clomid while ovulating

hi. am new here. been ttc for about a year nw, am 30, jst had fibriod removed 6months ago. did HSG and doc said i have only 1 open tube, said d other is blocked. also did hormonal profile, that shows am ovulating. was wondering if i can still go ahead to take clomid to increase ovulation??? can anyone help?? or shouldn't i? will it have a negative effect on my cycle??

Welcome to the forum! You can still take clomid. Many of the women on here take fertility meds, even thought they ovulate on their own. Since you only have one tube open, clomid can help you produce more than one follicle, increasing your chances that you'll get a mature follicle on your good side. Best of luck!
