questiong about trigger shot after taking clomid..please read!!!!

hey i have a quick question..i went to see my RE today and got an u/s i got 2 perfect follicles so i got a trigger shot to make me ovulate..im bd tonite and tomorrow..my question is did i already ovulate? i took an opk test and it came positive..does it mean i automatically ovualte with the trigger shot? anyone please help me it would really help me to eas off my mind!!!

I have done IUI with the trigger shot before and from what I understand, the trigger shot makes you ovulate within 24-36 hours (it doesn't happen instantaniously when you get the shot).  The reason your OPK came back positive is because HCG and LH are so close in make up that your body thinks the HCG is LH and gives your body a surge to release the eggs.  You should be all set bd'ing tonight and tomorrow.  I wish you the best of luck, and that you get your bfp soon!
