Good evening ladies.
Aww Sally..sorry to hear AF is coming...
Something must be in the doggone air! What is it with people thinking they can just take people's hard earned money!! I hope they catch who did it and make them pay it all back and then some...
Krista, I did get out and enjoy the weather...we just got back in...DH and I went to take some overdue family photos, visited with family and now back home to relax the rest of the evening. Are you going to the tast of Chicago? It's too crowded for me. I am short and I always get smacked by stinky armpits, so I opt to stay at home! lol
Sorry Amberlee.. that really stinks. Hope you get it fixed soon
I just started spotting (bright red).. think AF is here.. really bad cramps like a big nasty AF has arrived. I'll test in the morning and if AF is at her fullest, then Ill know. This BLOWS!
SO where do people think they can just get off by stealing your debit card and going on a spending spree with your money? weve been spending all morning now trying to get our money back because some A.S.S.H.O.L.E decided to steal our info!!!! GGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRR im so mad right now!!!!!!!!!
sorry needed to vent to someone!!!!
Jeez, Helen, that stinks. I can't believe you work for a state that has the option of fertility benefits, yet you aren't able to get it. That is seriously wrong. In IL, companies that have group coverage (versus private plans) must offer infertilility benefits to their employees. My husband works for a private company, and although they are not mandated to provide infertility, they opt in. He actually changed jobs in Jan, and one of the big reasons was the infert. benefits.
So you teach health economics? One of these days I would love to pick your brain. I work in healthcare as an occupational therapist. I have a small company of therapists so a portion of my day is spent billing and trying to collect $$ from insurance companies and/or the state. Sometimes (often times) it is like getting blood from a stone.
Ok, off to work on some of those insurance denials...
:-) K
Sally,
this may sound counter-intuitive but OHSS getting worth is a good thing since it gets really bad when hcg goes up. Kari had that and when she got her bfp she was in a lot of pain. It does not affect pregnancy though. So, if the pain is getting worth, it's a good news for you!!!
Krista,
TX mandates infertility and ivf coverage as well. But your employer does not have to accept it!! Not in our state. Insurance Co. just have to offer it. So, I live in TX with mandated ivf coverage and had to pay every last penny myself out of pocket! Oh, and did I mention that I work for the state??
I'll probably vote for Obama (not that it matters in TX!) but neither candidate would do anything useful about health insurance. I am actually a health economist and teach health economics every semester and it's really depressing :(
SHE'S BBBBAAAAAACCCCKKK!!!
Sally has emerged from underneath her rock! Yippee! We missed you, even if you are in a bad, estrogen-tainted mood!
Now, about pulling that miracle out of your arse...it happens, sista. Don't give up yet.
And that totally S*U*C*K*S about OHSS. Unbelievable. For the love of G*O*D, can't it just be straight forward and simple sometimes?!? Like Helen, for example. Finally got her BFP, but bleeding up until recently (thank goodness it is better!). ARRRGGGHHH!!!!
Helen, I agree with you about Obama...discouraging, b/c Illinois is one of the few states that mandates fertility coverage for group policies. If I am forced to go with a private plan, there goes my limited fertility coverage. Not that I am complaining about my coverage mind you. I am very lucky to have any coverage at all. There is NO WAY I could do this without a little insurance coverage. It is breaking my bank enough as it is.
Magda, come out and play today! Check in with us! :-)
